Question Sunday Jobs

I'm planning to get a sunday job soon. Does anyone have one, or could anyone recommend anywhere? I've heard boots pays about £6 an hour on sundays - are all places like this?

I used to work Sundays in my job, and they paid me the same amount of money as they did for any other day. Maybe thats just cos they're tight though!

If you have a TK Max near you I heard they have good pay and open on Sundays.

i've just done my a/s levels, and there was no way in hell i could've possibly kept a weekend job going whilst studying. same for next year doing a-levels. i know people who did 4 subjects at a/s and had a job on saturday and sunday. surprise surprise, they were disappointed by their results.

imho, your studies are more important than working whilst in sixth form, even if it means you're broke in term-time. when you go to uni, get a job and all. but in sixth form, you're better off doing as little extra work as you can. or is that just me being lazy? <IMG alt="image" SRC="http://www.thesite.org/ubb/smile.gif">

I have to disagree there, dan. I've just got really good as-level results, but my problem is that I spend too much time on work - I have no 'life'. Getting a job will give me a focus, so I don't make myself do school work because I've got nothing else to do, and it'll also hopefully build my confidence - social skills are not gained by staying at home and doing school work.

At the moment I am really pushing to become more optimistic and confident, so I hope getting a job will help me.
