I use the GIMP when Photoshop isn't available, but Photoshop is vastly superior. Especially for layers, groups etc.

I think £500 for Photoshop is stupid, specially with the fact you can illegally download it faster, yes download it faster and for free.
Which is weird, £500 for something, you'd expect speedy downloads, oh no.

I'm an online pirate what can i say, im 15 with no credit card.. what else can i do?

GIMP, weird opens multiple windows, very stupid design.
Paint.NET nice bit of kit concidering it's free

only 2 i've tried.

How do you know the proper download is slow if you haven't paid for it?

Adobe is becoming overrated these days. They could have done a whole lot better with the CS4 suite. these days it's becoming the norm for people to use, even for simple at home editing. Even if it's just someone editing a photo to pop onto their myspace, be arsed. It's not using it to it's fullest potential which is what it was meant for. It is being downgraded each day it's used for simple shit. It's okay but I wouldn't say it's the best. Corel is a good alternative, though it is harder to work with compared to Photoshop.

edit: After checking the site again, I see Photoshop Express. I remember reading about that about a year before it was even coded, then I used the beta, and what I explained above is what that is for. Adobe know their programs are being used illegally for lame stuff like that, they need to advertise it more I think. They need a better registration/activation too.

Just to point out too, doesn't that Splashup look like Photoshop? Surprised they haven't got sued.
