Are you a genuine shopaholic?
If so, a student would like to interview you:
"My name is Devi Trianna, I am an MA TV Journalism student at Goldsmiths College University of London. At the moment, I am producing a research documentary project on 'shopaholics'. I really need a personal case study, especially someone who can share their 'shopping addictive' experiences or someone to whom therapy has been given.
For convenience, I have several options on how you can tell your story:
1. You can speak in front of a camera
2. You can speak in front of a camera but your face will not appear in the camera (only the voice)
3. Be interviewed by phone and then your voice will be recorded
4. Interview by phone but we use an actor's voice to reconstruct your statement
5. Interview by email, then we'll use an actor to reconstruct your statement
If you're interested, I can be contacted at the following numbers: 020 8692 6336 or 07984 680678."

I'm a shopaholic! I can easily do one of two things...
- Go shopping for an entire day and blow every last penny on stuff I never wear or use ever again.
- Go shopping for the hell of it and still end up seeing something I 'must' have. My LiveJournal
"Destiny is usually around the corner. Like a thief, like a hooker, or a lottery vendor: its three most common personifications. But what destiny does not do is home visits. You have to go for it." (Fermin, The Shadow of the Wind)

Anyone who reads my LJ will KNOW that I go shopping constantly, my wardrobe is bursting there is no more room for any more clothes!they are loaded with prejudices, not based upon anything in reality, but based on... if something is new, they reject it immediately because it’s frightening to them. what they do instead is just stay with the familiar.

That's not true at all....
My ex- and I used to spend hours shopping, and it was never hassle. I'm a great shopper, and I can be mosey or surgical if I want...
*wonders if that's a bad thing???*Which is worse; ignorance, apathy, or isolation?
I don't know, I don't care; leave me the hell alone....

Mmm, it seems to be programmed into their genes. Mind you, I did meet one guy who like shopping, but he turned out to have 5 sisters, so I think he was brought up on it!! Originally posted by *DEVIL*:

*thinks again*
Ok, the ones who have been shopping with me, have told me "never again"...
But why don't they like shopping? Don't get it?
