Breastfeeding, an act of paedophilia?
I'd never have thought it but yes.... my wife is a paedophile... Why? because some sick, twisted campaign says so...
Taken from a particular website, but this has been spread around the internet quite a bit. It's a particularly interesting read, more for the sheer ignorance and comic value of the article.
One of many copies online

But let me get serious, WHO the hell does this person think she is? yes, thats right it is a female writing this. WOW... What deep dark secrets is she hiding to really think that breast feeding is an act of paedophilia and child abuse.
Now I am one for breast feeding, I believe it is important, however I do not force it upon people or look bellow people for not doing it. But this campaign is just pure idiocy at it's best.
What are your thoughts and opinions on this?"Anyone can achieve their fullest potential, But who we are might be predetermined, the path we follow is always of our own choosing, we should never allow our fears, or the expectations of others to set the frontiers of our destiny. Your destiny cannot be changed but it can be challenged. Every man is born as many men and dies as a single one."

That is one seriously messed up opinion. (the quote in the first post) I see nothing wrong with breastfeeding - there are many advantages to it.
Is there any scientific proof about it being more safe?formula milk is always the same and since it has been ultra heat treated (the ready made type in cartons), it is more safe.
The stuff about the parents abusing the child/ren is rubbish too - surely in a few cases that's true; but I imagine in the majority it's not.
I have never thought about breasfeeding as sexual and never will do - it's a natural way of feeding a baby.

I chuckled. How do people like this make it through life?
Presumably the author also thinks that the actual birth is an act of paedophilia, since the child gets pushed down (OMG) a vagina. Isn't that where the penis should go? I might faint.

Oh noes
I can never look into my mothers eyes again. I couldn't even defend myself, she just had her way with me.

I sent a message of complain to that site, I think posts like that are despicable.

If you had written that, surely suicide would quickly follow?
Did you ever go to a place - I think it was called Norway?
That was one of mine. Won an award, you know. Lovely crinkly edges...

Or past the breast on the way up... the only way not to be a paedophile is to never have children..
