I'm not the greatest person to get advice from, one of my ex's suggested I was incapable of having a normal relationship but hey, might as well offer my suggestion.
It's the kind of thing I'd do either when I had a lot else going on that essentially was a higher priority than my relationship, or if I was getting bored or feeling over crowded.

Suddenly become difficult to talk to the girl...

Elsewhere on TheSite.org My girl has been acting strange lately. A couple of weeks ago we were doing great, fantastic and all that, suddenly last week and since she has been somewhat hard to talk to and disconnected. I keep asking her what's wrong and she keeps saying nothing nothing I'm fine and all that jazz, but I'm not stupid. Something else is going on that she's not telling me about. Her texts are much shorter, she's less affectionate, less upbeat with me than she is with work colleagues or friends. All of this was fairly sudden.
What the fuck?

Although it's not so much that things are higher priority, it's more that I'm stressed and so any affection-y stuff is making me feel really claustrophobic....there is a crack in everything, that's how the light gets in.

Sounds like she has something else holding her back, it could be stress but unless she is ready to tell you why, you will probably just have to hang in there. Everything will eventually become clear, she'll eventually feel the need to explain her actions to you. Give it time.

Mine started doong that about six months ago. If it all turn into arguing and bickering, which I've known it to do through experience, maybe you aught to have a serious think about the relationship.
