Hi everyone
It's Friday which means one more working day til the weekend.
I haven't had the best of weeks, but I am glad it's nearly over. This weekend I am meeting up with baa ram ewe, on Saturday, having a catch up, a cafe Nero and a shopping trip. I am looking forward to that, and then on Sunday, if my current mood is anything to go by, I will be spending the day in bed. ...
It is with more than a little sadness (and maybe even a tear) that I am saying goodbye. Those of you old-timers will know this isn't the first time I've said it, so hopefully it won't be the last either - I have a habit of returning to TheSite over and over!
I just wanted to say what an amazing community of people this is - all the users and mods are so supportive and it will...
I say tomtato
now if they cross that with a liquidiser and a deep fat fryer we could grow chips with tomato sauce.
A thread for helping us motivate each other to do things we don't really want to do but would benefit from doing.
I need to do the washing up.
I would like to bake a swiss roll.
What do you need to get done?
Happy Birthday Starry Night :)
Have an awesome birthday. God Bless. *hug* Enjoy :)
Your virtual cake Oldsport ;)
Tea and Bondage -
Love this article, so very British, even the name of the town fits in with the article.
Mind you, brings a whole new meaning to 'park and ride' ;)
....keeps me happy and gay :)
So what's made you lol or smirk or laugh or titter today
Me - coming back from clinic tonight there was a van in front for a company that goes to pubs, fairs, events etc and does hog roasts and barbecues.
On the back was a big warning triangle with -
ATTENTION THIEVES - No sausages are left in this van overnight :D
Have a go, and be prepared to lose your life.
What's this week looking like for you? Any good or exciting things happening?
I started back at university today, so this week has introductions to modules and other boring admin stuff, but on the plus side it means seeing friends again :) Also helping to set up a student support group which means meetings with other students and the welfare officers...bit scary!
Hello, so I was thinking of making these games a weekly thing. I could start a new post every Wednesday with a new forum game each week - as long as people keep participating in them :)
In this game - we post a statement about the next person who will comment here. They then have to say whether that is true or false about them, and then they write a new statement.
OK, to start:
I'm meant to be revising and am very bored. Therefore I am polling the following question: Can you lick your own nipples?
I have (just) discovered that I can.
Okay. I'm too crap to make a poll tonight. Just post your answers!
Happy Birthday :d
Hey Dudes/Dudettes

Hello everybody
As you may have noticed, the forum has changed a little bit:
We now have a brand-spanking new Welcome Centre!!
We want to make the boards easier to get around for newbies. Before, we felt it was a little dense and difficult to know where to start and where to look for help or information.
The idea behind the Welcome Centre is to provide a place to help everyone...
This evening I went out with some friends who'd had an argument before they'd come out and were shitty to each other all evening.
Anyway I came home and snuggled down and had a lovely time just talking to people and watching TV.
But I've just come to bed, and I realised every night riotkitten calls for me when I've gone to bed, and I call back and he then jumps on me and settles down and...
Hey Everybody!
Its Friday, and for me I have had such a bad week. I am rather happy that this week is almost over. I am also happy that my little sister is back from a school trip today, as I have missed her more than I thought I would. :yippe:
So we all know that it's nearly the weekend, which means it's time for the weekly weekend thread. I hope everybody is enjoying this thread...
:heart:happy birthday :birthday::birthday:

Hello the site :)
So a while ago I started a word association game - lots of people got involved in that, but I think people got a bit bored of it in the end.
So I thought why not start a new game!
In this game, let's make a story together, using 3 words at a time. You can use punctuation in your 3 word contribution, and the punctuation doesnt count. The only rule is you can't kill off a...
Iam going to be a antie :D:heart::heart::thumb::yippe::yippe:
What phrase sums up your week ahead?
Sadly, I think my sieve brain means mine would have to be something like this:
I'm also feeling a sweet tooth coming along with the chilly weather, so could also go with
