  • Amsterdam - Dutch Dash! :D

I'm off to Amsterdam for a day trip! Being picked up in a few hours, then sailing from Hull this evening. Travelling overnight on a huuuuuuge ferry with loads of entertainment, etc.
Docking in Rotterdam early tomorrow morning, and a transfer by coach to Amsterdam. Should be there by 10 am, and coming back about 5.30 ish. Another overnighter on the ferry, and back in Hull early Tuesday morning.
I went on one last year with a friend, and looking forward to going again. Weather forecast is good too - sunny and 7 degrees Celcius. Taking plenty of film as I've been given loads of film by someone whose gone totally digital. If you're lucky I may share a couple of pics with you - but not any of me.

    Seeya!

Got a deal back in Feb (Jan & Feb are the time to look out for deals). Normally it's £80, but it was a two for one deal, so that's a mere £40 each! :D Add a bit of spending money for the day and evenings (will probably spend more on the ferry - drinks, etc), and it's a fairly cheap trip.

oh yes I remember you saying in travel. Are you staying in the flying pig palace? It is fab. I went in mid-feb stayed there for three nights and it was so so so good. One tip I'd say if you're budgeting and the weathers good, you really don't need to bother paying for trams coz its not far at all to walk. Oh and invest in a good map!

I keep on forgetting to look into it, but I plan to stay in the FPP because I've heard other good things about it.

Cheers for the advice, I'm hoping for a bit of decent weather!

I went on the cruise to Amsterdam last August but from North Sheilds had such a great time.

Whether that would turn out well in the end, of course, is another matter."
