Thanks guys...
Deano, best way to get rid of the fear of flying...
cheap: Get on a plane with chewing gum, good head phones and a night mask to cover your eyes. Put them on and start chewing and experience take off with your other senses, trust me, your fear will disappear.
expensive:hypnotherapy - applying the post hypnotic suggestion
Also, getting drunk before a flight helps, bad if you got motion sickness.... ;)
Guns....why, does he like guns?
hehe

You got a ride in one? :o How awesome. That must have been damn fun! Most I've done is sat in one at an airshow... You're so lucky! *jelous*

You can buy a ride in a 25 now... if you are rich! I wish I could. They took the 31 to airshows for a while then stopped... shame, probably too expensive.
The Frogfoot is a great plane. I'd like to see one, hopefully shall. Want to go to MAKS when I can afford it!
I used to go to Mildehall all the time, but that stopped after the war in Iraq and Afghanistahn. USAF got scared of terroists I guess. Been to Duxford afew times, and done Lowestoft and Southend, mostly local ones. Farnbourough will be the first really big one I've been to! Looking quite forward to it!

You can buy a ride in a Mig 29, Mig 25, Mig 21, Su-27 now and the F-16 (at NASA). Also, you can get a ride in the Czech L-39, they are supposed to be so nimble, sort of like the BA Hawks but better. Again, if you got dollars!!
I've been to a few air shows, have to say the best one in the UK is RIAT at Fairford.
I would recommend it before Farnborough, altough in Farnborough you get to see all the latest developments. (Esp the Airbus 380 this year)
