The default brightness setting on my media player are too bright. It's OK for when I can adjust it, but on some things you are unableto adjust brightness. It also means that it's too bright when I view some videos of wimp.com etc where there is no way to adjust it Anyone know how I can fix it?

When you said that its ok when you can adjust it. How did you adjust it?
Did you use the enhancements (from >>VIEW>>SHOW ENHANCEMENTS>>SELECT VIDEO SETTINGS)?

Have you considered turning down the brightness of your monitor?

Changing the brightness on the monitor doesn't affect it.

When I can adjust it I use the video settings yes. But the default settings are too bright and with some files (and when on websites) I can't adjust brightness and it remains too bright.
