I want to start putting money away for my pension as state pensions are ment to be getting worst. I don't know where to look or anything. I don't even know how they work. Help please.

There are lots of pension providers out there and alot of businesses do the pension + matched contribution schemes out there (I'm pretty scared to do those, if the company goes busy you don't get a pension - it was on channel 4 in a documentary a while ago).

I'd shop around, look for something with security and good returns. You might want to invest it [your money] instead of putting it into a pension scheme. Have you considered ISA's or shares? Barclays do a good mixed portfolio scheme.
