For the first time ever, I am buying a ticket! I just GOT to be in with a chance of that much cash. Lucky Dip time!
Ah, if I won, what would I do?
Donate some to here!
Buy a Capri 1.6! Woo.
Buy a Polikarpov I-16 :D
Buy some more stuff for my PC.
Give some to my parents.
Buy a Flat.
Live off the rest forever. Woo!
Oh, and I would finish this year at college... regardless... might as well! And set up my own Ebay business, woo.
So what would YOU do?

Buy myself everything I wanted
Cars (audi, Ferrari, Limo :D)
a big posh house somewhere
Give money to family
Donate to a few charities and set up my own charity for cancer research
I'd also buy a kennel and learn to play the piano

I'd travel the world
Buy a villa somewhere in Italy or France (or both!)
Donate some to charities and research
Set up my own charity to raise awareness about children's issues.
Give some to family and friends
I'd buy a great big turnip in the country.

Pay of student loan
buy a house
pay off parents mortgage and boyfriend's parents
give some to my brother and boyfriend's brother
buy a car and driving lessons
get married
buy my nan a nice bungalow and boyfriend's nan and grandad
give some money to my other grandparents
donate some to various charities
Got myself a ticket too although 100 million is a bit much, you would never need that much money
I'd be quite happy with 100 million. I'm sure I could find some use.

I heard this morning that this is the last time the rollover is going to get this big. After this jackpot has been won they are capping the rollover to three times. How the hell does that work? Surely the only winner with that is Camelot? Once the jackpot gets to 25million euros what happens to all the cash that is spent on tickets once the limit has been reached? Does it go straight into camelots pocket or straight into the charity fund?
Saying that it ain't going to stop me buying a couple of lucky dips. And what would I do with 100million?
I think the question is what COULDN'T you do with 100mill ;)
it's meant to go straight to charity, such as what would happen if this one wasn't won. I don't get why though.

The first thing I'd buy is a one way ticket around the world! leave money for friends and family and id be off for 2 years. then id come back and party for another year. Then I'd be bored and look at starting up a business.
I've got 3 tickets!

I don't understand either. I mean it's not really worth buying a ticket for a triple rollover of only £25mill is it? :p
NinjaMaster

Also ninja have you found any info on the net?
Having a look just now. Can't see anything. Heard it on the BBC news last night and this morning. I'll keep looking.

Not really no ;)
I don't understand the capping. Chances are that, as the jackpot increases, you will have more than 1 winner anyway, so it's not like one person would get a sublimely massive prize. And, even if they did, why shouldn't they get a massive prize more massive than the week before?

I'd pay my economics teacher £50,000 first of all to get on his knees and worship me and apologise for bitching about me all the time.
First Id buy my mum a new house, somewhere nice and warm. I think she'd get on well in France actually, but wherever. I wouldnt let anyone really know that Id won it, because my sister would ruin my life by heckling me for money: "If I won the lottery Id give you £10,000,000 straight away! :(".
I might then leave school, and take some time out to do some things I want to do. It might be interesting one day to do a mathematics degre though. I think Id probably buy some stocks in google, so that I could live off the dividends when Im bankrupt. I dunno. I actually think I wouldnt know what to do with that amount of money.

I read that the odds are 76,000,000-1 of winning. Fat chance! Apparently the biggest odds bookmakers give out for a bet is 20,000,000-1. Something like Elvis Presley riding into town on Shergar to play Lord Lucan at the final of Wimbeldon. Might put a few quid on that on? :chin:
I wouldn't want that amount of money but if I did.
I'd burn 1 million, just to see what it looks like.
I'd give a shit load to charities
Loads of women
Loads of drink n drugs

I'm buying a ticket for tnites draw. If I win, I shall:
Make sure everyone I love is extremely comfortable money-wise.
I'd buy myself a renovated church/manor, I'd have my entire wardrobe tailor made by Vivienne Westwood or Alexander McQueen, I'd buy several cars - generally have the usual millionnaire lifestyle...
I'd also like to set up in business, do something I really loved - probably stay at college and finish a degree just for the hell of it.

We were talking about this at work this morning.
I would...
See how quickly I could spend £1mil.
Pay off mine and my brother's mortgage/debts.
Pay off my parents and my boyfriend's mam's debts.
Buy me and my boyfriend, my brother and his girlfriend, my mam and da and my boyfriend's mam houses.
Give my dad £166,000 as he keeps saying thats what I owe him for bringing me up :p
Take all my friends on holiday to Hawaii.
Buy the biggest TV I can find to play Blue Shadow on the NES.
Donate a shitload to charity.
Save a load and live off the interest for the rest of my life.
...and play a game:
Each person gets £20,000 and they have 2 hours(?) to spend as much as they can. The person with the least amount of money left at the end of the 2 hours wins the game. Everybody gets to keep their stuff and remaining money and the winner gets another £20,000

All gamblings winning are tax-free in this country. Because there is no way that the goverment could enforce it, (as I learnt at college this week).
I would:
Donate loads to charity.
Buy my parents, myself and my brother places to live.
Pay off my brothers (student loan and other) debts and best friends debts (overdrafts, loans, mortgages EVERYTHING) (He means that much to me  )
Invest in property (LOTS of property)
Give the charity that runs this place enough to run for a couple of years with no problems/debts.
Buy a pub
Lots of travelling

I think there’s a limit to the amount of times that it can roll over because someone would be able to make a profit by purchasing every single possible combination to get the jackpot prize.
Anyway if I win this Friday I’d buy a couple of houses; one in a smart bit of London, Kensington or somewhere. Then one in the country. A few flash cars and a retro classic American Cadillac that consumes far too much petrol. Then I’d buy a few businesses for something to do so I wouldn’t be just sat around all day. I’d make sure close friends and family are properly sorted, leave a fair bit aside as well to satisfy distant relatives and others asking for money. Then I’d give generously to a few particular charities; main two being Oxfam and Toybox charity, although not a Christian and the latter is a Christian charity they do really good work. Oh and I’d remember TheSite too, deffo a good youth charity.

Hmm, I've often thought about what I'd do if I ever won the lotto...not likely seeing as I rarely play, but oh well.
I would:
Pay off my parents mortgage, buy them a new house and a holiday villa somewhere.
Give money to my family.
Take all my mates on holiday and a HUGE spending spree.
Get myself a car.
Not need to worry about student loan etc.
Put money in a trust fund for my bro and sis so that when they are older they will have £££.
Give some to charity, probably cancer research er, samaritans etc.
Plus buy lots of other stuff and save lots.
I think there’s a limit to the amount of times that it can roll over because someone would be able to make a profit by purchasing every single possible combination to get the jackpot prize.
The reason that this doesn't happen is because there are so many different combinations, and you can't be certain of being the only winner.

But you pay tax on the interest. And you would get shit loads of interest.
If I won I would make all my family multi-millionaires, give lots of money to charity, buy a really swish house and then go abroad for a little bit. Get the initial thrill out of the system.
I would also carry on with my studying because I think that although I would have so much money I would get bored and really enjoy what I am doing.
The boy wants to go into property developing too.

The Times says odds are as follows:
Drown in the bath: 10,582 to 1
Become a saint: 20,000 to 1
Be killed by lightning: 56,439 to 1
Be eaten by a great white shark: 3,700,000 to 1
Win the Euromillions Jackpot: 76,000,000 to 1
I guess I'd rather risk £1.50 on the lottery than dipping my foot into an enormous aquarium full of great white sharks, mind.

There's statistics, and then there's statistics. Mind you everyone, there are ways to win jackpots for free, with much better odds than the national lottery. The lottery is effectively a tax - the mjaority of the money goes to charity and/or administration costs, and an amount is given out.
http://www.mersenne.org/prime.htm
- All you need is a computer, the odds are a lot better than the lottery, too. "Your chance of success is roughly 1 in 250,000". Obviously, the more powerful your PC, the more prime numbers it can test, so your chance of winning goes up.
