View Full Version : What shall we call the Fashion Forum?

We were just chatting and wondered what you thought of a name change for the fashion forum, as fashion doesn't seem to cover all the topics that are posted here - body modification for example.

So do you have any ideas for a rename, either a whole new word to cover everything, or Fashion & ...., or even just leave it as it is?

Suggestions welcome. Go on, knock yourselves out.

something that relates in like make up and skin care and all that jazz. I'd say like Fashion, Health & Beauty, cuz thats what they call the sectioin in the stores, but health is already used.

We were thinking calling it beauty would put off the male board users - what about fashion and appearance? Jim V was quite partial to fashion and aesthetics...... Style and appearance?

I like that, won't scare off the boys and is a lot more general than "fashion" (which brings to mind clothes and not a lot else, really).

Fashion & Style is good too, Dear Wendy, melikes. :)

Me too, it seems to better cover what people post on the forum, there is a lot of post about beauty products, but I think have beauty in the name might put the male members off posting.

Personally i like it as just Fashion (as it is now).
Everone who posts on the board knows what sort of stuff is in here and im sure noobs will find out easy enough. Why change it now?

i don't think beauty would put the male board users off. some are in touch with their feminine sides! and there's nothing wrong with taking care of yourself.

since like 90% of threads in here are about Lingerie right?

I agree my boyfriend seems to have a uncanny ability to sense when we are walking pass a lingerire section in a shop, even when I'm asking what do you think of this...pervert :p :rolleyes:

i think 'style' instead of 'fashion', cause it's more unisex, and vague, so it could cover all sorts of questions.

or 'snobs, slobs, bods and mods' ;)
