Hey, has anyone got a mooncup or divacup? I've just bought one and seem to be having a load of problems with mine, the most worrying being that I get a pain in my lower back when using it, sort of like period pain but I don't think it is cos I don't get it when I take out the mooncup. Anyone have any idea what may be causing this? I'm worried I'm using it wrong and gonna do myself some damage! :(

woot for mooncups!

there are quite a few threads on them that it may be worth you having a look at. :)

they have alot of info in them. i've never had a pain from using mine personally.

there you go :)

Also have you read the FAQ's on the website and stuff cause my bet is that you are putting it in wrong.

I've read all the stuff on the site on how to put it in etc. I think it moves upwards by itself which it isnt supposed to do, which is why its hard to get it out. I cut the stem a little bit but when i first put it in its quite low so I can feel the stem, but by the time I go to take it out its moved so far I can hardly reach it! But I don't leak so I'm assuming the suction is there :chin:

I don't understand it

I'll give it some more time, It's in my drawer in disgrace at the moment so I'll have another go tomorrow. Any ideas about the back pain? Thats whats worrying me more than anything. V strange

Hi, I think youve got a vacuum above the cup which makes it move up and cause pain.
If you push a finger up the side to let air it it shud be better. Best of luck. A lot of us in the swim team use them and they are very good. Sarah.

it shouldnt be able to move up to be honest. it sounds like youre not positioning it correctly.
