No moving parts so how come I've had 2 Logitech's fail now and on other mouse Dead on arrival?

I've never had an old style mouse fail on me, ever!!

Batteries inserted correctly? (if wireless) is the reciever in range?

never had a problem with belkin wireless

2 years and keyboard and mouse work fine

Maybe its a message? Don't buy Logitech? Never had a mouse fail on me, ever... they are too simple for that!

Have'nt had bad experiences with Logitech myself, perhaps as Pirate said, Batteries the right way in? Not chewing the cable? :p

No idea tbh... try a different brand if you like, just get your cash back and buy something else. Microsoft Wireless Optical Mouse 2.0 is good... I have one.

I go for a shape that fit my hand, logitech make good right handed mice

Customer service was good though they sent me a brand new mouse when it failed (they did ask me to cut off the cable on the old mouse and post it to them) - 2nd mosue just playing up now
