I'm working on a BBC Three documentary which is exploring the issues of selling sex to the pre-teen market, and how they have become an increasingly important consumer market. Be it wearing sexy underwear such as thongs, reading sexually explicit magazines often meant for older teenagers or experimenting with make-up and listening to sexually explicit music lyrics, it seems that the under-12s are growing up more quickly than ever before. I'd be interested to hear from anyone who has a view on this - girls under-12, older siblings, concerned parents, or simply friends or members of the public whether they agree or disagree.
