Off to Egypt in November for 2 weeks. Sharm el Sheik to be exact.
Cant wait for it, but has anyone else been either to that resort or anywhere else in Egypt? and what's it like?

Egypt is a very exciting place to visit. Be sure to visit the pyramids, obviously, and if you can, get yourself down to Luxor as the ruins of Karnak Temple there are amazingly impressive.

Within Cairo, the pace is very hectic, and some of the people can appear brusk and intimidating as they try to peddle off their watered down perfumes. Just keep your head and you'll be fine.

I've been to Luxor a few times...lovely place and the Karnak Temple sound and light show is amazing...the people are friendly, though the attention the egyptian men give to western women is quite daunting sometimes. Just be careful of some of the dodgy stuff they try and sell tourists!...and remember to take your high factor sun cream as it is very very hot!!
