Anyone watch the US version last night on BBC3?


My God it was shit! They even used the original script but edited a few things. It was just so unfunny. I hope that anyone who haven't seen The Office before don't look at this and think that the original is anything like this heap of shit! :no: :eek:

Yeah, I saw it.

Watched about 3 quaters of it, then watched the first epsiode of the british one, as I felt I needed to cleanse myself.

It really is bad..

I downloaded the first 6 episodes from the net straight after they were played on American TV. The first episode takes all sorts from the British original, but they do get new ideas in the other episodes, while also making obvious references to the British version. I stopped downloading cause I got bored of them. While they are good in there own way, they're not that good.

Didn't see it but will probably try and catch the next episode. I just wish they'd do another series of the original. I know however that it was best they quit while they were ahead...

They did show the Office on HBO, hence Gervais being responsible for the only English show to ever win an Emmy.
