ok call me stupid, (and illegal), but many moons ago I used to use winmx on here to get free music downloads, but i've not been on for a while and now im on it doesnt seem to want to work for me.

thing is tho i've just got a new ipod and theres loads of tunes i want to get on it tonight before i go back home - where on earth is the best place to get them from? preferably free?

I think WinMX is now Virus infested.

I torrent whole albums myself. Grab bitlord or some such and head to torrent reactor for some torrents.

Soulseek truly is one of the best to use for music.... Limewire etc are pretty shite which are bundled with spyware...

Other two are Emule and Winmx for software and movies.
