Losing Messenger - Mac help plz!

Hey, I don't really know much about computers, but I just read on the net that MSN are no longer going to provide Messager for Mac OS X from the end of this month. I use Messager all the time to talk to my buddies - is there another messager type program that I could use with Mac OS X to talk to my hotmail buddies? I don't know much about the others - I've heard of AIM but none of my mates have it, etc. I can't switch to Windows cos it's not my pc. Plz help I'm really confused!

I dont think they are going to break the old version of the program, more that they're just not goign to do any new versions for the mac.

They are (or at least should be) all backwards compatible, so even if your freinds upgrade you can still talk to them. It shouldnt be a problem.

other programs that may work for mac that would enable you to talk to freinds would be Trillian, or Skype. (dont know if they're available for mac or not though)

:yes: aMSN is ok for macs, I've had no problems at all on it.
