The British Youth Council (BYC) has launched a search for young people
under the age of 26 to become Trustees of BYC for 2005/2006. BYC is inviting
nominations for young people across the UK, to be put forward for election
at BYC’s AGM in September 2005.
BYC is a proactive youth-led campaigning organisation and is looking for
strong and committed young people who would bring valuable knowledge, skills
and experiences to the board across a range of areas - including strong
leadership and teamwork skills, useful networks and contacts, commitment to
the organisation’s work and values and a desire to learn and develop.
Nominations, which can be made by anyone, can be made by downloading a
nomination pack from our website: www.byc.org.uk The nomination pack
includes: role descriptions, person specifications along with a nomination
form, which should be completed and returned by the 6th June deadline.
