Hi,
It's graphically a fantastic game. I didn't get any further than playing the demo though. The demo is a full product and lasts for a month. My only problem with an online RPG is that you need to commit yourself a lot to your developing character. It's like keeping track of a soap opera 4 times a week. I therefore only tend to play offline RPGs like Final Fantasy 7 and 8.
I think that the biggest pulling factor of Star Wars Galaxies is doing it with a mate. You can let your characters meet up in 'cyberspace' and trade/give items to make the game an easier start.

I had it off their official site last July. It was a whopping huge >200MB file.

I got it, the combat in the game was just balanced. And for new players it will make more sense.
Im playing Ever Quest 2 alot more than SWG though, but maybe thats personal preference.

Guild wars is rather good, what i'm playing at the moment and with the low-ish cap level it's betetr for casual players and there's no monthly fees! :)
