Now don't get my wrong. I keep god enough cre of my teeth and gums and I don't brush exesively hard. But every night my mouth gets dry and I'll wake in the morning with blood on my gums and lips :yuck:
It's really pissing me off. I don't think I have any sort of gum disease because my gums aren't discoloured and are't that painful....any ideas on how I can stop this?

Try a medicated mouthwash like Oraldene. I had a touch of gingivitus a while back and it cleared it up quickly. Not that i'm saying thats what you've got, but it should work anyway.

 wouldn't do any harm and may solve the problem.
if you haven't been to the dentist recently then do . you may be chewing/biting in your sleep also. any sore bits?
actually the oraldene could do more harm than good
i started using it for sore gums once and because it is so strong, it actually burned my gums. I ended up with gums so sore and blistered that my own saliva stung on contact.
Definately go to see a dentist

I can't - I don't have a dentist up here yet, I'm still on the books for my dentist in Wrexham but can't get down there with work - How do I go about getting one up here and how expensive is it likely to be for a check up?

A check up with an NHS dentist will set you back about 500 English pennies.
Find a local dentist on the NHS Direct website or phone them on 0845 4647

I have a check up every 6 months or so and it costs £5.24 or some such nominal fee. That's at an NHS dentist with no specific treatment like bleaching or fillings etc.

I don't think it's anything to do with your gums? But, nevertheless go to the dentist as soon as you can.
You may just be biting your lips/sides of your mouth in your sleep, therefore waking up with dried blood.
Just take it easy when brushing your teeth to make sure you do not irritate the gums IF it is something to do with them.
Good luck.

hmm go on yell.com and type in NHS dentist or something
I dont have a dentist at uni but i did that and theres this place near me that deals with unregistered patients. There might be one where you live too?
Or if there isnt one of those, just pop down to the nearest dentist and ask to register, then make an appointment.
