When things don't make sense...

Hi, I'm feeling a little confused at the moment. I've been getting on really well with a girl who's a good friend of mine recently, and have been doing a lot of stuff alone with her, making me think she might be interested in me. For example, she linked arms with me the other day while we were walking down the street, and we're having long, 'deep meaningful' (as she describes them) conversations, talking with our faces no more than a head width apart. She keeps throwing me compliments as well, and seems to be always finding time to spend time with me.

However when we were talking today, we brought another friend into the conversation, and I asked her what she though of him, as I suspected she might kind of like him. She said she did...

Question is, what should I think of this? Should I assume I've mis-read her signals, or do you think she said it to try and incite a reaction out of me?

it doesn't matter why she said it... presumably it was just a part of the conversation... don't try and read into things which aren't there.
and if you like her in that way... make your move! :)
