I have been pondering this matter over and for people who really seem to think that out of all the parties out there there is no party for them, surely this lot (http://www.omrlp.com/) are pretty much the "None of the Above" option. :chin: I mean they are hardly doing it to be serious are they and its extremly unlikely any will get elected. ;)

Edit to add: After reading the manifesto this might also be a loony idea....

Man, if you could run a country on humour, those guys would be the best Government ever.

The thing is some policies they suggested in the 1970's have been taken up nowadays! i.e. All day licensing in pubs.

I don't think Pram Lanes are a bad idea either. ;)

That's fantastic!

My favourite policy: "We will issue a 99p coin to save on change"

Thanks for my best laugh in days

Drivers will be allowed to drive over roundabouts when there’s nothing about. This will make driving through Milton Keynes much more fun.

Anyone who's been to MK know's this is true. :D

I'm strangely tempted to 'spoil' my paper by voting for these loonies.

"4 wheel drive vehicles will only be allowed to drive off road, therefore stopping mothers picking up their children from school in them when they only live 100 yards down the road. They will also be wrapped in bubble wrap to make them safer."

Bra-vo! :D

Thats it, they've got my vote. for theses:

Any Home Secretary claiming to have more children than necessary will be made to run the House Of Commons Crèche.
We pledge to reduce class sizes by making the pupils sit closer to one another and issuing them with smaller desks.
:thumb:

Bright pupils will be provided with dimmer switches to prevent them distracting the rest of the class.
The number 13 will be abolished due to its longstanding unpopularity. The bus to Acton North will now not have a number on it but not much else will be affected. Therefore if you see a bus with no number on it, it will be going to Acton North. Please remember this for future reference.

The best thing is, Britain would probably run better under them...
