The last few times I went drinking, the next day when I would bathroom there would be blood in it and it would kind of sting. It only happens when I drink excessivly the night before. I know I should go to a doctor but I am afraid. I was hoping that maybe getting a couple ideas on what may be wrong would help ease my anxiety with it and I could make an appoitment soon. This is actually highly embaressing. I wish i could deleate it.

when you say blood is it bright red blood or dark red blood?
I would say that sounds like either a bladder infection or more likely a kidney infection. Do you have an ache in your back just around the bottom of your ribs?
Your best bet is to get a doctors appointment and theyll probably take a urine sample and put you on a course of antibiotics. It might be an idea to give your body a rest for a few days/week or so, because if your kidneys are infected, then they wont be able to drain the toxins away, and you could make yourself quite ill.

on that - is it coming out in clots or is it just blood-stained?

I suggest you make an appointment with your doc and in the meantime cut out the alcohol.

Are you sure where its coming from ie can you tell whether its from the urethra or from the vagina?

Yeah, it was definatly in the bathroom. I had a bladder infection once, it was nothing like that. It doesn't hurt anywhere else in my body, just when I went it kinda stung in the downward area, I'm not even sure where exactly. Thanks though. I've never been to the dr where I live now so my first trip will have to be something embaressing. Oh what joy that will be.
