Anyone got any true stories on how some famous people were discovered or got to be famous?

I know Pamela Anderson was discovered at a stadium watching some game wearing a top with a beer company's logo on it and the cameraman zoomed in on her and the crowd started cheering and then the beer company hired her!!

Kate Moss was discovered on a plane

Claudia Schiffer in a nightclub

Dr Phil is another one who got famous cos of Mad Cow Diesese of all things!! So anyone that don't like him can blame the farmers!!

Oasis - Discovered by Alan McGee at the tiny King Tut's Wah-Wah Hut in Glasgow when they were only allowed to play first on the bill because they had threatened to trash the place after being turned away at the door. McGee wasn't supposed to be there either but, thankfully, he was, and he signed the band almost on the spot.
