Implanon - weight gain & weight loss

I have had implanon in for about two and a half months and have put on 4kg (unusual for me given that I have been the same weight for over 10 years).

I am having the implanon removed because of the weight and the constant bleeding and I was wondering if anyone has succesfully lost the weight they gained due to implanon?

The implanon didn't cause me to gain weight, but I hah gained weight because of the pill. I really shouldn't worry though. I lost the weight very quickly. Are you having any other problems with the implanon. I had to have mine taken out!

Yes, as well as the weight gain I have had moodiness, acne, no sex drive and my period for two months!!!

My problems were the same and worse!!! It should calm down, but if not and its really causing you a problem maybe you should think about another kind of contraception!

I havent had implanon, but when I came off the pill, I lost about a stone really quickly without even dieting. If its not supposed to be on you, you should lose it reasonably easily.
