Hi,
I know a few of you have chronic illnesses and I found a really helpful page about them which I thought you might like to have a read of dealing with chronic illnesses (http://www.kidshealth.org/teen/your_mind/problems/deal_chronic_illness.html)
I thought it was interesting anyway... It's made it obvious to me that I'm still learning to deal with mine even thought I've been diagnosed with it for nearly 3 years, but it also makes it look hopeful that in time I'll learn to deal with it better and be more accepting.
I think it's quite a reassuring article. Think it's good for you 'healthy' people to read it too cos it's always valuable to understand what other people are feeling. :D
I also wanted to ask those others of you who have health conditions if at times you have felt sort of obsessed with it... like it takes over all your thoughts and you can't get through a day without thinking about it. I don't want to sound weird but I was wondering if it's sort of a way that I'm coming to terms with all the effects of it on my life and stuff, and if one day it won't take so much of my time?
