When you watch Anime do you watch it in japanese with subs or prefer the english dubs? which do you prefer?

I don't mind it in Jap with subs, and the sound tracks/music have to be in jap.. even though you can't understand it.. it's so much better in japanese.. I don't know why lol.. for example Neon Genesis Evangelion theme is soooooooooooo much better in japanese.. it just sounds so right..

But I must say with the films/series i prefer listening to them in english but i dont mind the jap with subs

Exactly. And that is the same for any film in a foreign language, not just anime.

I hate dubbed films. With a passion.

It is always better in their original language with the subtitles.

i suppose it depends on how well it is dubbed but sometimes i dont want to read the sub titles :p

i mean i have Evangelion 1 - 16 in both subbed and dubbed and in the process of getting the whole series (its actually dual so i suppose it depends what mood i am in.. :p thats why i love Dvd's of .ogm files because you get the dual audio and subtittles ect so you can always pick

ive only got around to watching episode 1 and 2 in english but i got the jist of it,

Right.. let me get this right, there is 26 episodes, Death and Rebirth and end of Evangelion am i right? thats all of it...

and I put them in the right order to watch right?

Naw Death and rebirth is just a edited version of final episodes - just go through 1 - 26 and then end of evangelion

ahh thanks, i've not got into evangelion before, is there much difference between death/rebirth and the last episodes

Yeah - it's a little clearier but the bigger difference was between the old episodes and the revamped episodes which I think tightened the end up.

Yep. It's not even the fact the lips aren't synched, it's the fact the voices don't match the character. Like, kids cartoon voices on a character who's meant to be badass.

Eva has really confused me. I have ep 1-26 and watched half of end of, but halfway through it it said episode 26 :S anyone clear this up?
