Not sure why but my system keeps rebooting, it only happens about once (so far). I've not a clue as to why, it isn't getting to hot either. The system temp is between 25-28c. Any suggestions?

Maybe windows is set to do so when it encounters an error? Could also bee a hardware fault. I hope it isn't though... that'd be evil.
It'd blame the software if the processor doesn't overheat at all. Or maybe the reset switch wire is buggered up?
I think that in the wost case scenario it could possibly be a virus, so if this continues I would recommend you give your system a good scan with an anti-virus program. Hopefully it'll be something else, but I'm sad to say I have known viruses which can act like this. :-/
ooh this reminds me, my xp sp2 box has been running 4 days solid without a rebot or a log off, torrent is now finished, so might as well give it a rest when i go to bed, though it does show how a windows system *CAN* be stable

Check for viruses first and if that comes up clean then right click My Computer >> Properties >> Advanced >> Startup and Recovery and see if Windows is set to automatically reboot on system failure.
It could be any of a hundred and one things causing it. Overheating, a faulty power supply, incompatible hardware or (hopefully) an easily fix-a-ble software error.
Uncheck the 'automatically reboot' option then restart the computer. When/if it crashes again you'll get a Blue Screen of Death (BSoD) with an error and usually a filename. You should take note of both and pass them on to someone that can help :)

My W2k computer has only been off for about 6 hours since mid January, and that was because of a power cut :D Compare that to my older computer with the same OS that used to reboot randomly due to fooked-up video drivers. Windows computer CAN be stable, it just doesn't happen all that often :D

Ah-ha! Windows fails alot.
My win2k and XP rigs hardly ever crash properly. Mostly just things like illegal opperations, or getting confused when I try to do something.
I just installed 2k on a p1 166 with 80meg ram. HEHE! It works too...
Yeah, ME or older crash alot!
