War of the Worlds

I saw the trailer for this a couple of days ago, would give link but forgotten site :blush: , and gotta say i cannot wait for this film to come out next year.
Seeing that its directed by Spielberg its almost guaranteed to be a classic film.

Anyone else seen the trailer or read the book?
I gotta see if my dad has the book or i mite buy it, as it sounds like it could be a cool book.

Yeah it looks pretty cool. Also heard someone else is making a low budget version of it too for all you elitist assholes out there who wouldn't be seen dead enjoying a Hollywood movie.

theres actually 3 war of the worlds movies this year. Theres this spielberg one which should be cool, a Pendragon pictures one (which is a period setting, set in england etc..) and finally a Animated version with jeff waynes music, which should be great. if none of you have listened to Jeff waynes war of the worlds i suggest you do.
