like most of those emerging eastern european cities, it's got a thriving night life with loads of cheap beer, havne't been myself but i plan to go somewhere along those lines soon enough...

Yeh Budapest is a really cool city, I'm glad it's opening up with flights and so on because I wanna get back there! It's a massive city so there's a lot of cafe bars and clubs, but the booze isn't fantastically cheap like some other East European cities. It's a great city to go for a wander in at night because although it'd heard it could be sketchy, I never felt unsafe.

The ladies are foxy and the people are as friendly as you'd expect for a mother big city. I don't think I saw many if any lager louts around, unlike in Prague, whether they roam the streets like the vermin they are.
