or at least thats what iv put it down to since going on the pill. Its really bugging me lately, specialy since they wont change the pill im on. Im guessing there is a chance it could be an STD of some sort. Is there a chance im right? or should I stop bugging myself?

Ok well first off two things, have you been having unprotected sex?
Second, what are your symptoms?

Also have you tried the over the counter thrush remedies that are availble to you?

yes we have unprotected sex, symptoms: White discharge, Discomfort, iching, occasional pain during sex.

I did think about over the counter remidies, but at £12 a go, with the chance of it coming back a month later? sounds like a rip off. Guess I should give it a go really.

Oh and as for changing my pill, I asked my doctor if it can cause thrush, she said yes, I asked if it was possible to change my pill, and she gave me a stern "no"

[QUOTE=poisonfairy]get treated and then make sure you have a live bacteria yogurt everyday or a supplement ( acidophilus lactobacillus tablets ) or an "actimal" drink. this encourages the good bacteria and will help prevent thrush.

wear cotten underwear to let your body breath. don't use perfumed soaps etc... check out this link.

See thing is, Iv tried all these things, Cotton underwear, I always wear loose pants, Soap+perfume free shower gel, 2X Actimel every day, and it hasnt really eased up at all. Hence why its bugging me so much.
