Going out tonight with a bunch of people i dnt really know

Well as the title says im going out tonight with a bunch of people i dnt know that well. I mean i've only known them for a few weeks but they've known each other for ages and i feel that its gonna be a nite of awkwardness and me being the quite one.

Any tips on how to make the nite go smoothly and how to make a gud impression? :thumb: :)

never underestimate the power of football in conversations with people you don't know!

I doubt the conversation will dry up if there is a group of you, but stuff like sports, music,film, tv never go amiss for stuff to talk about.

Other than, just be yourself. A Rubbish thing to say I know, but true nonetheless.

Yeah, have a good time. Try not to worry about conversation, to be honest it should just come naturally. Plus, as el dude said, if there is a group then someone is bound to have something to say!

I can understand why you are a little nervous. It is perfectly natural to feel uneasy in a situation like that. I think you probably find that people will try and include you in the conversation, people can be nice like that. You will be fine, just don't concentrate on how awkward you feel, concentrate on the conversation. Hope you enjoy yourself :) or enjoyed yourself probably...

Well know one decided to go in the end. We were planning on goin after work which was about 10 but know one cud be arsed to go. Instead we've decided to go next saturday wen we dnt work :), another week of nerves lol. Thanks anyway
