im attracted to this girl and shes attracted to me too but we never approach each other... but recently i got her screenname from a friend of mine... now for me its much easier to introduce myself online then mesh with it in reality, but im scared that if i messaged her without literally asking her for her screenname she might think its rude n stuff... so wht should i do.. and our age group is around 16ish

Fuck no it's not un-gentleman like.
Just drop her a mail asking her to add you and see what happens.
Flirting by email/messenger, the way of the office ;)

COMMUNICATE!!!
no she won't think it rude... why would she? i mean, at the very worse she can only tell you to piss off.
or better yet, why don't you just ask her for her screen-name?!
if she likes you then i dont think she will be too bothered about you just adding her

She will probably guess you like her if you add her but will be pleased if she likes you too.
