I broke up with my bf of almost 2 years in May last year as I felt we weren't going anywhere. A mo. later, we got back but after a little over a month, he said he needed a time out, simply bec. he said things don't feel right. However, he'd still email me abt. 3x a week and we still talk everytime we run into each other in the building. Then we had a "fight" over one comment he made and didn't speak to each other for abt. 3 months, to the point of me ignoring him during those "chance" meetings in the building.
Anyway, we made peace during the holidays, even exchanged cards and got a lengthy 2-pager from him. Looks like the year started right as we talk to each other again, whenever we bump into each other or emails. Well. i've been out of commission for a few weeks now (medical reason - even emailed how the procedure went, even asked me when I am returning to work) and last week, a friend at work called me to tell me that he got fired from work and shortly after, called again to retract & said wrong info . Not long after, same co-worker called telling me that she heard he got hitched to someone he dated in the past. I was shocked since he's not usually the type who'd rush into marriage (he told me so as he's been there once). Is this a rebound? Why would he jump on it right away when he gives an impression that he's a commitment phobe? (well, he married in his 30's but was short-lived, after a few years was in an off-on relationship for 21-/2yrs & b4 I met him he hasn't been into a serious relationship for 1-1/2 years). What gives? Should I ask him if it's true he got hitched (like most of my friends say) :banghead: ? Your thoughts are highly appreciated.
