I find this seriously difficult to ask, but it's easier to ask people i dont know than my family so here goes..

Last week while taking a bath i inspected myself as usual, cause sometimes i find little parts where dirt or soap had built up and formed a sort of 'black head' Any way, there was one like that except it looked different. So i tried to squeeze it, nothing came out, a couple of days later it got all big and white, like puss. It got really sore, in the end it went all red, and still sore. But now it seems to have gone down and is like a spot dissappearing, but any reason why this came? how to prevent getting it again?

Oh before anyone asks, it can't be due to anything from sex, because i haven't had any in about two years :P

probably just a blocked pore, or if you shave it could be an ingrown hair! if it hasnt gone in a few days or so id nip down to your gp, as IF it is anyhting nasty, you want it sorted asap! dont worry, sounds like a spot in a wierd place, they happen anywhere!

Don't worry I get them. They are nothing to worry about. The penis is like the skin on any part of your body, contains pores that can get block with sebum [oil] and bacteria get in there and cause the 'spot'.

DONT squeeze them - this only spreads the bacteria and causes more. If you are really worried have a chat with your GP.

thanks for answering it. It was really bugging, especially since i've just started seeing a girl i like and she's suggested we have sex and all, so it was worrying me cause i wouldn't want to have to tell her and all, even though if it stuck i obviously would tell her :S
