Outlook just checked my mail and popped up the little envelope on my taskbar to tell me I had a new email. I went to look in outlook and it wasn't there :eek2:

Anyone got any ideas where it could have gone?

check your deleted items folder? try Mozllia Thunderbirds, it's far nicer.

May have been junk and deleted, may be in a hidden folder, may be an item of mail you read before the notification popped up, try marking a mail unread and then read, soon removes it.

I must also say you should get Mozilla Thunderbird :p

Already checked deleted items. I don't like Thunderbirds, not really sure what i don't like but it annoyed me last time I used it.

It's not set up to delete junk, checked all folders and only mail I've read today is one I got a couple of days back and had to reply to, so it's not that i've read it prior to notification.

Oops found it. AVG hid it in it's virus vault.
