This is probably a very obvious question, but can someone please help me out...

How do I do it? I have tried pressing 'print screen' whilst a film is running, then stopping it and copying into paint shop pro but all I get is a black image.

Download the free divx player - I'm pretty certain it has one of the F keys set up to auto save the still instantly as a jpeg

my mistake it's power dvd that had screen capture - not sure if you can grab it for free

oh and if you use vlc player then it should work with the print screen button
