can you delete your old threads? there are some i want to delete but don't know if i can...

Or, if you have a decent reason, you can request a mod to delete stuff.

The delete feature was removed after people would insult somebody, they would insult them back, then delete their original insults, thus getting the other one in trouble. Well, I know that happened at least once - the mods say it's because of all the hassle caused by deletion of threads it just wasn't worth it.

Mind you, I deleted old embarresing threads, if you PMed a mod I'm sure they'd probably do it for you... Don't quote me though.

moral of the story is, that if you think you might ever be concerned about something in the future, dont post it, and if you become embarassed about something, tough luck

its like shouting "free beer for everyone" in the middle of a crowded pub and then expecting people to pretend it never happened
