I need someone else's advice... about a guy...

Well I've known this guy, lets call him Bob, since grade 1, (and his twin bro), and I've had a major crush on him since grade 5. We were kind of going out for a month in the summer of grade 8 - grade 9, although we never kissed. This year, just about 3 weeks ago, I kissed him for the first time. And then 2 monday's ago i came over to their house again and we made out, and then later that night his brother tells me (over msn) that "Bob" just wants to be friends. I talked to "Bob" about it and said I agreed, and we get along really well as friends. I lied though... I still do like him, I actually think I love him... because I can't get over him! I thought that if I just kissed him it would be out of my system but that didn't work. It's so on and off, sometimes hes just a friend and other times he flirts a lot and talks about being more

I just want to know if you guys think I should just get over him or if we will be together once more, I really need to hear someone elses advice because I don't know what to do!

Well what do you want? Would you really want to date a guy who cant make up his mind? I don't think so. Just try your best to get over him, you can still be friends. However, if you want to be with him then you need to give him time to figure out how he feels for you (if he does) and what he wants. Try speaking to him once more, and try to establish why he thinks your better as friends, when he still flirts etc.

That change in mood of his is probably when you two get close and his little soldier takes over his think drive. If you spend less time with this bob and more time with other bobs then you'll think about the first bob less. Try getting to know some new bobs... you'll eventually realise that what you like about bob isn't something that only he has, some other bobs will have it too. Just don't ever let this particular bob get into your pants because you know what his head's thinking now, any other vibe you get will probably be coming from his... drill sergent. :)

Maybe Bob's brother has a thing for you, so he's asked Bob not to take it ant further out of respect for his feelings. Bob would then of course agree, not wanting to upset his brother but when he sees you he's bound to be flirty! Just my two cents worth...
