Everytime me or my brother play Rise of nations and try to conquer the world campain we get an exception error and it won't work, any idea's what this could be?

well i sorted it out, downloaded the No cd crack and it doesn't happen, the problem is with the nations.exe in the game

wrong.. games legal, i just used the no cd crack, got told it should work.. NOW.. i have a legal copy of the game.. but do i have to stick the cd in the drive to play it, i swear there is now law about doing that ;)

Using a no cd crack violates the EULA, read through it sometime. That means it is illegal.
