Ok, in my boredom I have aquired a Pentium 1 PC. Don't laugh, good reason behind this here. It was also free, and I can get more shit for it, so meh :p

I want to dabble in water cooling, but don't fancy risking one of main rigs I use alot. So, trash this one. One question: How would one go about this? I can get pumps and hoses easy enough (Dumped cars if I find one, wewt, big radiator!) Or Fish Pond Supplies. But the water block itself people. Buyable or not, socket 7 is obsolete right, but can I get one online anywhere? Or will I have to make it?

Any help GREATLY appreciated by anyone who has done this before. The p1 is 200, intend to up that. I have run a 166 at 200 before on the standard HSF. :shocking: The power!

You wont be able to buy a water block for the processor. Water cooling and PC's back in the day didnt go.

To be honest your best off buying a kit from a website cos custom radiators etc are for Pro's. If you mess around with doing it all custom and you have no clue basically you'll get :shocking:.

Get a kit and follow the instructions.

I got a good idea how it works and have looked up lenty of guides to making the water block, just seems alot of effort to mill the fucker out.

I'll buy me a nice basic kit and plug it on my Duron rig then. :thumb: Seen one for £50.
