Gamespy's never put a single bit of spyware on my computer
It might be full of pop ups without a subscription but with a sub and fileplanet it's highly recommended

I just go on review websites, they seem to have lots of relevant links. Has anybody noticed fewer and fewer demos are being released these days? :(

Never know what happened to them; they seem to have died or something. I used to have a subscription but they cancelled it saying I didn't have the required funds even though my bank statement can prove that I did :yeees:

Head to the newsagents opposite Tesco. :thumb:
I subscribe. :p
I don't trust gamespy, if I signed up no doubt it would be better, I only have a free fileplanet thingy. That shite it wants you to install with some games was picked up as containing spyware programs. So, I use All Seeing Eye now.

Operation Flashpoint. though multiplayer is a bit difficult to get the hang of.

CS sucks now. I've been playing it since early 1.3. It's got borrring.
I brought Operation Flashpoint: Cold War Crisis and found to have poor gfx, poor game play and hardly any online support.

When you do play it online properly though it's unrivalled to anything I've ever played. The sort of teamwork, etc...

Battlefeild Vietnam will waste your life away online. It did mine, anyway.

Castle wolfenstein ET

Castle wolfenstein ET has poor gfx as well. Someone did mention a decent war type game that was based around the present I think but I cannot remember it. Tried doing a search but nothing what I want comes up.

I really enjoyed ET on the PC though, rather than graphics being an issue, it just kept it smooth. Mind you SWAT 3 was pretty superb - any of the later versions work well online.
Battlefield 2 is out soon as well and looks like it will do the business, though Flashpoint was the daddy of them all, even if it was a complex nightmare
