Right. My department has decided to enforce us all to take an online module to pass the year, and have created a word document for us to put all of our answers in. The only problem is, it is too small and I can't fit my stuff in it, nor can I change the size of the table they want us to put the stuff in. I can't even make the text smaller because they have specified a set font and size they want it in.
So...basically I need some offers of help/suggestions on how to fit the cocking thing in the box that doesn't resolve in me punching someone in the History department here.
Thank you.

Surely if you are using MS Word, when you fill the box you are writing in, it should expand the box for more text.
Hope that helped some.

Can you not change the text size for what you are putting in the box?

I'm using OpenOffice, not Word, but the same thing happened when I tried to use word.

Nope-has to be size 12 font.
If it helps the description any more, it seems like the text is going behind the next lot of boxes, because the footnotes appear at the bottom of the next page even though that bit of the text doesn't.

Sounds to me like you've got a shit word processing program. Try investing a little money into buying Microsoft Word 2000. It's a good word processing program that lets you do all sorts of text manipulation. If you look on www.ebay.com.au someone (not me) is presently selling one of these disks for $21

Tbh, it is not my word processing program, because everyone on the course is having the same problem, whether they use MS Word or not.
Also, that wouldn't work on this computer :p
I have now averted the crisis, by managing to get rid of the table on the area I was having problems with. My mummy had a look and she said they had put something on it so you can't change the size.
