Help with uplink

Ok, simple question, anyone whos played it should know it,

im on a mission were i've got to hack into the criminal database and change a record. i'm hooking through several different servers (about 10 tops) and i dont get enough time, i get about 40seconds to hack in and i need about 120seconds to get in and fine the files, Does anyone know how i can get more time to hack in or speed the hacking up alot?

much help would be appriciated, it's one of the first missions were you've got to use the decypher

dont want to use cheats.. just a little hint of how to keep a longer connection on the goverment databases before i am traced

just hack some proxy servers, it takes longer for them to trace through servers u have root to, just remember to erase and replace logs regularly

I always erase the logs from the computer i am hacking into, if not i hack the logs of the first computer i routed through, normally the test computer and erase all them lose so they can only trace it back to as far as that,

Go through the banks :yes: they have got loads of security so its hard to go through them.

Or do what I did - go through every server in the world :D anyway - you're obviously being traced, why not use the bypass thingy? So then they don't suspect anything.

lol.. takes ages to do it, i also kind of cheat, every so often i copy my saved game so if i get killed i don't have to start over,

(the bypass thing requires 20000C for the HUD then another 5000 g which i haven't got atm, but I've managed to upgrade really good and can do it now \m/ I ROCK
