The government could have been defeated in the first vote on the Terrrorism Bill if all the Lib Dems had turned up!

17 of them were not there for one reason or another, that would have been enough to defeate Labour.

Gits.

Erm... whilst I agree that abstaining is a good as voting for something as horrendous as this, shouldn't you hate those who actually voted for it ...?

What I really hate about them is there a party who come up with all sorts of crazy figures just because they wont have to justify it as they dont have a prayer of getting into power.

Thats not even starting on there loony policies

Could anyone really imagine Charles Kennedy as PM ROFL

Well of course I dont like those voting for it, but Lib Dems were against it and they didnt get their Whips out well enough, which I find frustrating.

Several tories didn't vote either......

Nor did Charles Kennedy himself....

I am not sure what he was doing at the time but I doubt it was more important, pretty poor really. Good article in teh Observer at the w.end about how if politicians want us to vote they should make sure they vote more often themselves..........

Doesnt the PM vote in about 7% of votes, and isnt he the least voting PM we have ever had?

Toadborg

I do beleieve so.

This is probably to do with his majority, i.e. he doesn't need to vote, and the fatc he has been involved in international affairs more than most.

Still pretty poor though, he didn't vote in the Terrorism bill either.....

Like what?

Where do I start?

There is a powerful movement within the party to make hardcore pornography legally available to sixteen and seventeen year olds, legalise prostituion, promote the teaching of homosexuality in schools, encourage kids to try all things, go soft on drugs, probably even softer on crime.

Ill get back to you with a full proper list when I have time to read this elections manifesto again.

Lib Dems get about 15% of the vote I think but if people actually knew there policies when they were voting I think it would be far far far lower than that.

There a complete joke and I just thank my lucky stars we live in a country where they will never get anywhere near power.

Well there is nothing wrong with many of the things you list there. And I don't believe some of the others.

What exaclty do you mean by "promote the teaching of homosexuality in schools"?

I'm very curious to know...

they tell kids they should be gay and show them gay porn until all the children are turned gay and the human race is destroyed..........

No, they are a joke because they did not have the balls to vote against the terrorism bill.

Gits. Thankfully, we don't need to depend on them too much. The House of Lords will give the government a tough time. Might as well before it's emasculated and turned into a House of Tony's Cronies.

I suspect as front bencher he probably reads all the major papers and I suspect a bunch of minor political periodicals as well. All the politicos I've met are news junkies and read dozens of papers.

Who can legally carry out the very acts portrayed...

legalise prostituion

Which will help to protect women.

promote the teaching of homosexuality in schools

Do you mean "allow", or do you mean "advertise"...?

encourage kids to try all things

Don't kids try things anyway?

go soft on drugs

Because prohibition works so well...

There a complete joke and I just thank my lucky stars we live in a country where they will never get anywhere near power.

In a hung Parliament, they would be the power...

No, they are a joke because they did not have the balls to vote against the terrorism bill.

Nor did the Tories, and Labour actually voted for it.

Curious how that's been conveniently forgotten.

Tommo: I know, how DARE they let a sixteen-year-old boy not watch hardcore pornography! Especially as he can legally go and find a girl and actually have sex with her! It's a disgrace! We should hang all pa.kis!

Sorry, got a bit carried away there. I've been reading the Daily Mail again.

I never understand this hatred for the Daily Mail. I have read it many times yet I never find evidence of supposed rascism or prejudice. They even have Asian, black and feminist columnists - I know alot of Muslims that read it.

It's full of sensationalist drivel. That's my problem with the Daily Mail.

A lot of Muslims (as most communities seem to at the minute) hate immigrants, so it would make sense. Just because they are Muslim doesn't mean that they suddenly love foreigners.

How can you read the HateMail and miss the racism, the hatred and the scare-mongering. In that newspaper immigrants are swamping us, raping our women, mugging and stealing our jobs (and that's if they work, lazy foreign scum that they are); everyone is dying of MRSA; every teenager is getting pregnant and websites such as this one which attempt to stop them are labelled as "vile" and "pornoggraphic".

I don't know how anyone can read that racist homophobic filth without seeing the poison dripping from every page.
