Gmail & pop

Set Gmail up with Thunderbird and it's not receiving mail. It downloaded all my emails from my account, will send email and if I type in a dead address, I will get a failed delivery notice, but I just cannot receive anything.

I followed the help section in Gmail.com but to no avail.

Any suggestions?

Not used thunderbird but does it have a manual send/recieve button?

Hmm it's working now. Maybe I had to leave it to update or something.

it says under the server account option that it only updates ever 10 min, i changed it to 1 and it's not updating automaticly.
