No, not allegations of soldiers torturing Iraqis. Rather, Prince Charles complaining that he's being "tortured" by the British people. Click here for the story. (http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/uk/4302325.stm)

Add this to the fact that nobody knows if the wedding's going to be legal, the fact Charles's mum isn't even attending the wedding and that she doesn't really like Camilla anyway, what do you get? Yes, another royal farce.

I used to be an ardent monarchist. To tell the truth, I've had doubts over the years. Now I'm certain. I've turned into a republican.

What do you think of all this Royal bollocks?

Lol sure, I voted that I can't be arsed.

I think that British people should get their own lives instead of obsessing over royalty and celebrity's personal business.

londons most disfunctional family ...
corrie ...eastenders ...the royals ...
they're having a fucking larf aren't they!
how dare he accuse the british people of having put up with this fucking shower for this long ...accuse us of being torturers!
the entire fucking family should be reported to social services ...

how much influence does the royal family really have over politics and such?

if they're just another branch of celebrity that who really cares whether they're getting married.

For us anti-monarchists this is providing endless entertainment, it has to be said...

But even so I couldn't give a flying toss about the jug-eared one and his fiancee, much of the media and the public have been behaving in a rather nasty manner. The obsession with 'Saint' fucking Diana and the stupidity of the populace knows no limits, it'd seem...

Its so meaningless its almost difficult to understand.

Who cares whether they are married, where they are married or if they are breaking some marraige law? No one, or at least no one should.

In theory the Queen has veto over any law being passed. In parctice they family is irrelevant to politics.

Just cracking tabloid fodder.

Yeah I couldn't care less if they were married or not, they probably should have done it years ago, as long as they are both happy then why does it matter?

I think if they want to get married, they should get on with it and shut up. Nobodys torturing him, if he feels tortured, maybe he needs counselling?

I went for ironic number 3.

I have nothing against Charles or the royals generally, but I'm not that fussed by his personal life.
