I think the talented oppurtunist will always make a living though... people leave things lying around all the time. And you know, personally, I'm going to leave things lying around all my life, even if they get stolen, I'll get it again and put it in the same place, I'm not going to live my life boarded up behind security fences, guard dogs, alarm systems, CCTV, laser tripwires, high-strength door and window locks etc etc

Then again, won't let the companies rob me by getting a credit card in the first place :p

There's always, always been thieves though, have there not? Nowadays it's just harder to make a living from it.
